MARION COUNTY MAN CLAIMS $267,668 FANTASY 5® TOP PRIZE TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announced today that Charles Blumhardt, 61, of Summerfield, claimed the May 15 $267,668.88 FANTASY 5 5® top prize. He purchased his winning FANTASY 5 Quick Pick ticket from Metro Food Mart, located at 3818 N.E. 7th Street in Ocala. Total ticket sales for this top prize generated approximately $345,000 for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF). Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $21 billion to the EETF, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education.
