SCB REVOCABLE TRUST CLAIMS SHARE OF $5 MILLION FLORIDA LOTTO™ JACKPOT TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery today announced that the SCB Revocable Trust claimed their share of the $5 million FLORIDA LOTTO™ jackpot. Joseph Britenriker, 41, of St. Cloud, is the trustee. The SCB Revocable Trust chose the annuity payment option for the winnings in the amount of $83,000 for the next 30 years. The winning FLORIDA LOTTO ticket was purchased from Winn-Dixie, located at 3318 Canoe Creek Road in St. Cloud. The retailer received a bonus incentive of $7,500 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. The drawing held on January 23 produced two jackpot winners. The other winning ticket was purchased in Ormond Beach. The winning numbers were: 37 - 39 - 42 - 47 - 49- 51 Total ticket sales for this jackpot generated approximately $2.76 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF). Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $20 billion to the EETF, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education. Britenriker is the 11th FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot winner to purchase a winning ticket in Osceola County. To date, there have been more than 940 FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot winners statewide since 1988. The next FLORIDA LOTTO drawing will be held on Saturday, February 27, at 11:15 p.m. ET with a $15 million jackpot.
